About Me

Hi all! I'm Jennie. Few things about me...I'm 27 from St. Louis. Maybe not the most exciting city, but I love living here. It's home to me. I have 4 cats (I'm a huge cat lover...and lover of about any animal). I volunteer every Saturday with a local humane society and I really enjoy that time. I love sports, especially baseball/softball, gymnastics and colorguard/winterguard. I can't do without music in my life. I listen to pretty much anything depending on my mood. I love learning about the world and have had pen-pals from 22 countries covering each continent. I have been sending letters around the world for about 12 years now. I have recently started crocheting, mostly making little blankets for the cats at the humane society. I love sunsets, taking photos, learning languages, writing, watching movies, and nature.

As for my blog, well, I've probably been blogging for about 10 years. My first one being the silliest Xanga blog about how boring my life was. I then kept one while in Japan, and that's about when I discovered that I really enjoying writing personal blogs. After that, I started a random one, which originally started as a dream journal because I have some of the craziest dreams, which I may even share here. Then it just became random stuff. I don't even know how to describe "stuff". The randomness was getting out of hand for me and I decided to make it a little more personal, but needed to start a fresh, new blog.

So, here I am. This blog is going to focus mostly on my struggles with social anxiety. I will eventually write up a page on here that describes it in detail for anyone who is unfamiliar with it. I struggle with a pretty severe case of it, but I have gotten much better since first being diagnosed. However, each day is a day I have to battle fears and my mind going in a hundred different directions when anxiety and fear arise. I never have anyone to talk to that completely understands what I go through on a day-to-day basis, so I thought writing it all out is the best way for me. This is my life and the things I deal with every day...
